From its founding in 1973, The Stonewall National Museum & Archives has grown into the largest lending library of its kind in the United States. Our circulating library holdings now number over 18,000 books and audio-visual materials. Our archives document a century of LGBT cultural and social history with an emphasis on the southeastern United States and contain more than 5,000 items including periodicals, oral history collections, business and association records, manuscripts, and relevant ephemera.

ONE National Gay & Lesbian Archives is the oldest active Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning (LGBTQ) organization in the United States and the largest repository of LGBTQ materials in the world. Founded in 1952, ONE Archives currently houses over two million archival items including periodicals, books, film, video and audio recordings, photographs, artworks, organizational records and personal papers. IHLIA is an international gay/lesbian library, archive, information and documentation centre about homosexuality and sexual diversity. In Amsterdam (Homodok) and in the north of the Netherlands: Leeuwarden.

Our organization has a growing collection of books, journals, newspaper articles, audiovisual material, as well as posters, brochures and other relics that document the history of the Hungarian LGBT movement. The archive is open to journalists, researchers and students, who can access the collection by appointment via email at the archivum@hatter.hu email address.
